![]() ![]() (*there were some staff that were very nice: cashier at Best of West, Ticket seller at Extreme rides, and attendant from Rock climbing)Īfter reading the title of this review, some will say I am a fraud by what's coming next. And what about the bathroom? Smell so bad, I thought I was in some interstate gas station bathroom. Next time I am recording this and utube it. NEVER in my life I had someone smack into the head to check for height, good thing I was not in line with my kids, otherwise I would have been in jail for punching the lights out of him. Also, if you have kids within 54" some staff can be rude by checking and checking sometime smashing against kids head to make sure they are over 54. If you have several days like me, early morning and night is good time to enjoy the rides, less sun and less wait, also weekdays are half the traffic vs weekends. If you have small party for short duration the Flashpass gold is highly recommended. Overall, this park is awesome place to go, it is big and has many kids area and has many more exciting thrill rides, definitely place to go to. No fan and water until you are very close to riding. As mentioned in the website as well as poster by the entrance, the wait was VERY long. then off we went for new Safari ride, although we enjoyed driving through this was nice to have someone else drive it and not risk having Rhino rub against my car (yes long ago, sometimes animals did come very close to you when you were allowed to drive, as well as Baboons were jumping all over the car asking for food). Spent over $300 in food yet they were so not wanting to take my money, I asked for onion for my BBQ sandwich after seeing onion being put on burgers for my family meal, the worker told me she didn't have onions while she was holding onion in her hand. Lines were very long and it moved slower than ride lines. It is not Halloween yet, all workers seem to play zombie and really go out of their way to not serve you. ![]() This year, food was so so but the service was the worst of all. Eating at the park is another enjoyment of amusement park, eating lots of junk food. ![]() They asked once then just took people from single line. Oh well, then tried Zumanjaro, the tallest drop towel build on the track of Kingda Ka, wait was long but expected, but what I didn't expect was many group was using single line which was very short, although, single line was for single left over seat to be filled by these single riders but what I didn't expect was they were letting single line to have up to 3 folks to fill the seat, instead of getting 2 or 3 riders from regular line. Got there super early to ride Kingda Ka, after 30 min of being in line the line didn't move at all, got to the park at 10:30 but after the Kingda Ka, it was already pass noon, it used to be done in two line of carts but only one line of cart was operation. As usual, Superman line was Superlong but expected but didn't expect it to breakdown right front of us after 90 min of wait and no rain check. Bought 6, without the value pass we wouldn't have done all of them. We enjoy the new $30 value pass for Go Kart, Devil drop, sling shot, and game vouchers. Within 3 days, we were able to enjoy everything without Flashpass, including paid rides (Rock climb, Go Karts, Devil drop, and Sling Shot). This park has some coolest rides in east coast. We started off with DC (home base), visited Chicago in July, and came to NJ in August as this became a tradition in August to visit here and we always enjoy coming here. We are theme park rats, we rotate season memberships every year (Six flags, Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens), after visiting Six Flags (DC NJ Great Adventure and Georgia) in 2011, this year was 6flags turn. ![]()
